Hi Nancy,
My friend Rachel Desario told me about you and your blog. My mother, Gay Block, lives in Santa Fe. She just released a book (she’s a photographer) with Radius Books (a Santa Fe publisher) and will be giving a talk at The New Mexico Museum of Art in SF on Sunday January 22 at 2pm.
I thought you’d like to include her in one of your stories. My mother is a very interesting person and speaks passionately about her work. Her book, “About Love, Photographs from 1973-2011″ was also recently reviewed in Pasatiempo (a week or so before Christmas). Here’s a link to her talk: http://www.nmartmuseum.org/site/learn/programs?eventID=1274
I put my website below, but her website is http://www.gayblock.com
Best,
Alison Block Gerson
